During the warmer months, I just don’t really fancy eating porridge. Yet I know how good oats are – rich in complex carbohydrates, full of fibre plus some protein and antioxidants – so I don’t want to abandon them for any long period.
Overnight oats are the answer!
This recipe is so incredibly quick and easy to prepare.
The addition of chia seeds adds some Omega 3 goodness (healthy fats) and extra protein.
You can play around with the toppings and if you find you need a bit of extra sweetness, you can stir in a teaspoon of honey or maple syrup.
